Made in L.A. part 2

1.  Who does Forever 21 blame for the sweatshops?  Why?
Forever 21 blames the contractor for the  sweatshops. The reason they do this is because they gave the contractor the money but they can't control how much money the contractor give the workers to make their product.

2.  What’s wrong with Forever 21′s argument?
What's wrong with their argument is that they hired the contractor so they are in charge of what the contractor does, how much money they pay the workers, how many hours they make the workers work, and if they are paying too little they should offer the contractor to go to the workers that are working hard in sweatshops to make their product(s).

3.  Why do the workers continue to protest even if it means they might lose their jobs?

I think the workers continue to protest even though they might lose their jobs because they want to put a stop to the sweatshop. Not to stop them but to make them better for people to actually work in them. They want their voices to be heard to make a change.

Behind The Swoosh Part 3

I wake up at three
There is no T.V
My room is a four by four box

I store all my clothes
and fill all the holes
to keep the cool air in

I have the flue
but there's so much to do
to keep my self alive

I go and get dressed
My room is a mess
I share it with three other families

I enter the place
the look on my face
turns from a smile to a frown

I fear for my life
cuz anytime i don't hide
I fear i might die
Then who will provide?

We have to behave
cuz i am a slave
trying to live in this heat wave

I come home one night
the view in my sight
is one of great fright
my kids have all died

I made this happen
by speaking out
and now only god will hear my shout
