Marked is about a girl named Zoey who gets marked which means she will have to go through 4 years of vampyre school and turn into a full vampyre or die in between those 4 years. Sounds harsh? How about dealing with that, boyfriend issues, secrets, a High Priestess turned bad, and your new friends all at once, while most people you know thinks your a freak for your tattoo's and your new ability to control all five elements- wind, fire, water, earth, and spirit.
Tough? Even all of that doesn't even begin to explain the Chaos that is The House Of Night Series. So why don't you go and enter the world that the awesome authors P.C. and Kristen Cast has so fantastically put together. You'll devour the book in just one sitting.
